Roger Avary is an Academy Award-winning screenwriter and director best known for co-writing "Pulp Fiction" with Quentin Tarantino, for which they won the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay in 1995. He has also written and directed films including "Killing Zoe" and "The Rules of Attraction," establishing himself as a distinctive voice in independent cinema. Avary is recognized for his innovative narrative techniques and his collaborative work during the emergence of 1990s independent film.
