Dakota Meyer

Dakota Meyer is a United States Marine Corps veteran and Medal of Honor recipient who served in Afghanistan. He became the first living Marine to receive the Medal of Honor since the Vietnam War for his heroic actions during the Battle of Ganjgal in 2009, where he repeatedly entered enemy fire to evacuate wounded soldiers. Meyer has since become a public speaker and advocate for veterans' issues.
